The assignment

We shot and lit the EPK interviews with the cast and the heads of department on Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein: del Toro on writing and directing, del Toro with Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac with production designer Tamara Deverell, Mia Goth with costume designer Kate Hawley, del Toro with Hawley on the costumes, del Toro with cinematographer Dan Laustsen, del Toro on the production design, Christoph Waltz with producer J. Miles Dale, and Felix Kammerer with Gerry Grennell on the accents. We also shot the scoring session with composer Alexandre Desplat.

Netflix released the material as a run of craft featurettes through the autumn of 2025, then as The Making of a Monster, five pieces pairing an actor with the person whose department shaped their performance. Our interview work also appears in The Anatomy Lesson, the making-of feature on Netflix. The on-set behind the scenes footage in the pieces is the production's own; our part is the interviews and the scoring session.
